<title>TRIBUTE TO EZINNE (ASA) COMFORT UZOAMAKA CHIME

To our dearest Ezinne, your life was a living testament to virtue, faith, and unwavering love. You were more than just a mother/grandmother/, you were a cornerstone of your family, a pillar of strength, and a true reflection of God&#039;s grace.
You were such a pleasant human with a heart of gold, always there for all around you.
We remember your gentle spirit, your wise counsel, and the way you built your home not just with bricks and mortar, but with patience, kindness, and deep devotion. Your hands were never idle; they worked tirelessly, nurturing, encouraging, and interceding for all, even in your old age.
The void left by your passing is immense, but the legacy you&#039;ve left behind—in your children, your family, and everyone whose life you touched—is immeasurable. You lived a life of purpose, leaving footprints of love and faith that will guide yours forever. Though we mourn your absence, we rejoice in the knowledge that you have found eternal peace with your Lord.
Rest on dear Ezinne, in the bosom of the Lord.

				<title>&#x1f337; A Beautiful Tribute to Mama &#x1f337;

Mama was truly a rare gem—graceful, gentle, prayerful, and full of quiet strength. Her kindness had a way of touching people deeply, and her wisdom was something you could feel just by being around her. She carried herself with dignity and poured love into everyone connected to her.

I will always remember Mama’s warmth and the peace she carried. She raised a beautiful family, and her legacy is shining through every one of you. Though Mama is no longer here physically, the light she brought into this world remains. It lives in your values, your memories, and the many lives she touched along the way.

This loss is heavy, and my heart is with you. I pray that God will wrap you in His comfort and give you the strength to walk through this season. May Mama’s soul rest peacefully, and may her beautiful legacy continue to speak.

With my love and deepest sympathy.
Mrs Esther Umar.</title>

<title>“Maama Chime”!! as I fondly called her.

Since the day of Ezinne’s passing, I’ve not found my words yet to describe her, Not because I lack what to say, but because I have no idea where to start from. Maama Chime was the most educated (I know this because she thought me how to read and write), stylish (She dresses like it is her traditional marriage every time!), eloquent, compassionate and most of all ‘God fearing’ Grandma that I know. Her love for God and prayer I’ll say is one of the reasons we are still ONE BIG FAMILY in love and in Christ.

Ezinne often forgets that she was old, she always wanted do things her age wouldn’t permit. She wanted to cook and feed everyone, wash her clothes, clean up after herself and nurse her grand/great, grand children. I recall in 2019 when my daughter was born, mama visited and requested that we setup the room so she could bath her. It was funny that she actually meant it, at the time mama was “93 years”!!!

“Maama Chime” wrote me letters, called often to just checkup and pray for me. God used her in so many instances to guide and direct me towards the right path. I recall after my NYSC in Abuja and still job hunting, mama asked me about my relationship. When I admitted that I had no one at the time and in her wisdom she told me; “Davy try to find someone because it’s easier to find a person who wants to be with you when you have nothing than when you’re established”. I took wisdom from Mama’s advice and that was when I met my wife.

My heart has so much to say, so many memories to share but it cannot all be contained in few words. You are so loved and will be dearly missed Grandma, Go home and rest as we pickup from where you left off.

Your husband Davidson (Davy) Chiedozie Chime Jnr</title>

<title>A Tribute to my Grandmother, Ezinne (ASA) Comfort Uzoamaka Chime

Grandma Ezinne (ASA) Comfort Uzoamaka Chime lived a truly fulfilled life, reaching 99 years as a shining example of grace, courage, and steadfast faith. She was a rare gift to her family and community, and her home-call is both a moment of deep sorrow and immense gratitude to God for the privilege of loving and being loved by her.

A life of faith and strength

From Ekenene Village in Udi L.G.A., she carried herself as a true matriarch, anchoring her family in Christian faith, prayer, and unquestionable trust in God. She faced the seasons of life with quiet strength, turning challenges into testimonies and teaching her children and grandchildren to do the same. Her title “Ezinne” was not just a name, but a reflection of a life of godly motherhood, integrity, and sacrifice.

Heart of the family

Grandma Comfort was the center of warmth in the family, a place where everyone felt seen, heard, and accepted. Her compound was never just a house; it was a refuge where stories, laughter, discipline, and guidance shaped generations. She carried every child, grandchild, and great-grandchild in her heart and prayers, constantly checking on their welfare and rejoicing in their progress.

A legacy of love and wisdom

Her life was a living lesson in contentment, humility, and generosity. She gave freely—whether it was food, wise counsel, or simple words of encouragement that strengthened weary hearts. Her stories about the past, her proverbs, and her gentle corrections will continue to echo in family decisions, shaping character long after her passing.
Forever in our hearts
Though her chair is now empty and her voice is silent, her presence remains deeply felt in the values she instilled and the unity she cultivated. The family can stand tall today because she first stood in the gap for them, planting seeds of love, faith, and hard work that will continue to bear fruit.

Rest in the Lord

As her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in‑laws, relatives, and friends gather to honor her, they do so with hearts full of both tears and thanksgiving. May Ezinne (ASA) Comfort Uzoamaka Chime find perfect rest in the bosom of the Lord she served so faithfully, and may her memory continue to be a blessing, an inspiration, and a guiding light to all who were privileged to call her Mama.

				<title>A TRIBUTE TO MY MOTHER
(EZINNE; ASA; CU KING; COMFORT UZOAMAKA CHIME)
My mother, Ezinne CU, can easily and simply be described as a quintessential, classic and virtuous mother that was uniquely created by God. She truly represented everything beautiful and lovely both in body and soul.
Indeed, it is quite a daunting task to have to write a tribute for my mother at this time and that is because, over the years, we have become used to writing Goodwill Messages for the brochures we always produced for her annual birthdays and we were getting ready to start writing what I wanted to call a penultimate Goodwill message for her 99th birthday celebration planned for December 2025. Yes, penultimate at her 99th birthday because we were silently praying to God to keep our Dear Ezinne to hit 100 years; completely oblivious that God had a different plan for her. As it is, I can actually say that “nothing spoil” and that is because we are indeed having a 99th birthday celebration and party for Ezinne CU, albeit, posthumously.
The truth is that I had become used to always seeing Ezinne anytime I get to Enugu and/or calling her on phone and she responds with her nicely pitched voice that never changed till her passing at 99, that I just felt in me that Ezinne was never going to die, that is as in “dying kee”. And indeed Ezinne CU has not died but merely transitioned very peacefully and remains forever alive in our hearts. We will sorely miss your physical and commanding presence in this earthly world and I am already feeling terrible that Ezinne is no longer there to hail me with: COC or Nwa Kraist nor to fry breakfast plantain for me, which she always insisted on frying herself because she thinks her house help did not know how to fry plantain that would be nice enough for me to enjoy – and that was Ezinne for you!
Ezinne’s legacy is quite humongous and so her epitaph and tribute will continuously resonate in my heart and certainly in may hearts and homes. I, therefore, want to conclude this short tribute by saying that this is not a parting Tribute to say good bye or good night to a rock solid Mother but a short note to tell my Dear Mother, Ezinne CU Chime, that she will always be in my heart and that I will always be in close touch until we meet to part no more.
Sleep well Ezinne CU King; Mama Enugu and a Virtuous Mother indeed!!!
Your loving son (Nwa Kraist),
Chief(Sir) Chikaodinaka Ozoemena Ugochukwu Chime, KSC.
Omeise 1 of Udi Ancient Kingdom.

				<title>Tribute to Mama-anyi, Ezinne Asa C. U Chime
Today, we gather with heavy hearts yet grateful spirits to celebrate the life of our dear aunt, fondly known as Asa, one who was more like a mother to us, who departed this world at the remarkable age of 99.
Ezinne-Asa was more than a relative; she was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and love in our family, a mother to our mum as well. Her life was a testimony of resilience, faith, and kindness. She carried herself with grace, and her presence brought warmth to every gathering. Her discipline was beyond comparison.
A Motherly Figure: Though she was our aunty, she nurtured us like a mother, never discriminating between her own offspring and those of her siblings. She offered discipline, counsel, and comfort whenever we needed them. Her words are authoritative yet always delivered with great love and affection.
A Legacy of Love: Her generosity knew no bounds. She gave freely of her time, her wisdom, and her heart, leaving behind lessons that will continue to shape us.
A Life Well Lived: Ninety-nine years is a gift, and she used every moment to build bridges of love, strengthen family ties, and inspire us with her unwavering faith and prayerful life style.
We, the Ogbodo family, are proud to have been blessed by her life. Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her laughter, her stories, and her gentle spirit will forever remain etched in our hearts.
Asa, you have run your race with dignity and grace. You have fought the Lord&#039;s good fight, and now you rest in eternal peace. We will continue to honour your legacy by living with the same love and unity you taught us.
Rest well Mama anyi, Nne anyi Asa, Mama Onwudiwe, our dearest aunty. You will forever remain in our hearts.
With love and gratitude,
The Ogbodo Family</title>

<title>&#x1f338; Tribute from Your Loving Sister
Nne anyi Asa,
It is with both sorrow and gratitude that I bid you farewell. I look back on the long journey we shared, and my heart is full. You were not only my elder sister, but also my protector, my teacher, and my friend.
I remember those precious days when I lived with you during my school years. You cared for me with such tenderness, guiding me through the challenges of youth. Your wisdom shaped me, your encouragement strengthened me, and your love gave me the courage to pursue my path.
Through the decades, you remained a shining example of patience, resilience, and faith. You taught me that family is the greatest treasure, and you lived every day with kindness that touched everyone around you.
Though you have gone ahead of me, I take comfort in knowing that your spirit lives on in the lives you nurtured and the legacy you built. I will carry your memory with me until my own journey ends, and I will continue to honour you by living with the same grace and love you showed me.
Rest peacefully, my beloved sister. You have run your race well, and I will forever cherish the bond we shared.

With eternal love,

<title>TRIBUTE TO MY ELDER SISTER, EZINNE COMFORT UZOAMAKA CHIME
I wish to draw attention to the incident of the death of my elder sister, Comfort Uzoamaka Chime.
From our early life, we grew up together in Egbu, Owerri in the present Imo State. In School, sister was on top of the Class, while I was a beginner, using Slate and Chalk. Owerri people saw us as Onitsha people and discriminated against us. Hostility will easily ensure; and on each instance we depended on our sister, Comfort for safety! We saw her as Tigress and dependable. She would display rare intelligence and wisdom in all matters and we thus respected her approach and decisions on all issues.
As time went by, when Comfort came of age, she got married and her wisdom became noticeable the way she reasoned and behaved.
As Biafra war was raging, life became very hard for us!. Comfort had some grown up sons who we conscripted into the army! Comfort also had two very little kids having lost her husband during the war, she was like abandoned in a small town called Amandugba in Orlu LGA, Imo State . No help came from any source! Life seemed impossible!
However , intelligence led her into prayerfulness; wisdom from above prevailed and had the way! Sister Comfort became led into added venture: Massive changes came up. My sister got a different sphere of life! She would always refer to Psalm 91. Once more, she would make boasting in the Lord and things would happen!
And what I am saying in effect is that Comfort, my sister would be remembered in God’s kingdom, in Jesus name! Amen!
I am thankful to God Almighty for the gift of Comfort to me as my big sister! Also, I am thankful to God Almighty, who granted me the opportunity to share last supper and love with her in her last few days to her glorious exit on the 6th of October, 2025!
Farewell bidding us, as I say: Goodbye, EZINNE (ASA) C. U. Chime.
FROM YOUR BROTHER,
JOHN.</title>

<title>Tribute to Mama Ezinne Comfort Uzoamaka Chime

On behalf of our CEO, Board, Management, and entire Medicaid family, we extend our deepest condolences to you, our dear COO, Mrs. Nkiruka Nwankwo, on the passing of your beloved mother.

To have lived to the age of 99 is a remarkable blessing. Mama’s long life is a testament to her strength, grace, and the love she poured into her family and all who knew her. We are grateful for the gift of her life and for the values she instilled in you – values we see every day in your dedication, compassion, and commitment to the work we do at Medicaid.

From all we have heard and witnessed, Mama was a nurturing and kind woman – a true matriarch who created room for others to grow, to feel seen, and to feel supported. Her legacy lives on in you, in your siblings, in her grandchildren, and in the many lives she quietly touched over nearly a century.

At this difficult time, please know that you are not alone. Your Medicaid family stands with you in prayer and in solidarity. We thank God for the privilege of her long, fulfilled life, and we pray that He will grant you and your family comfort, strength, and peace.

May Mama’s soul rest in perfect peace, and may her memory continue to be a blessing.

With heartfelt sympathy,

Hadiza A-Arome

				<title>FAREWELL TO EZINNE C. U. CHIME (ASA)
WOMAN OF FAITH, PEACE, ELEGANCE AND BEAUTY.
The news that you have joined the Saints Triumphant does not appear real. I find it difficult to accept you will not be with us while we celebrate your Centenary savouring the moment and blessing us prayerfully while wearing that your ever infectious smile. Ezinne CU, but for the news of your transition, I was beginning to feel you will be with us forever. Notwithstanding, we shall still celebrate your centenary albeit posthumously. However, in all this, I thank God for His mercies and love on you and for giving you 99 long years. Your transition indeed calls for celebration and thanksgiving to God and we shall do just that by His special grace.
Ezinne, you are a woman of faith, peace, elegance and beauty. When your loving husband passed away midway in your marriage journey, the responsibility of providing and running the family fell squarely on you. You took on the challenge and with God on your side discharged it creditably. You did not only raise God fearing children but responsible men and women that held their own in their chosen professions. Your love and care knows no bounds and that was how some of us became your adopted children. You lived a fullfilled life worthy of emulation. In death, you did not dissappoint as you quietly and peacefully joined your ancestors in your sleep.
Your faith in God was bold and resolute. In everything and all challenges, you trust God with faith and belief that is pure and genuine. Your boast is in God and in the fact that nothing is too big for Him. You always encourage us to be of good cheer and at peace with ourselves assuring us that what God cannot do does not exist. Having found that God is your all, I keyed in and you became my intercessor and remained so until you were called on 6th. October, 2025. Ezinne, you were so much more in the lives of so many people within and outside your immediate family, community and State than many will ever know. No wonder God blessed you with long life in excellent health.

I remain eternally grateful for the time and relationship we shared. Thank you very much for standing in the gap of prayers for me and my family. I feel truly blessed to have crossed path with you. You were an incurable optimist in a very humble and Godly manner and your attitude to life remained very simple, easy going and peaceful. I have never met you angry, nor have I seen you raise your voice in anger or frustration. Indeed, you have subtly passed on to us the secret of longevity “Faith in God, love and peace to all men”. You will be greatly missed Ezinne, but we take solace in the rich legacies and beautiful memories you left behind. I salute this quintessential lady and amazing mum. Indeed, heaven rejoices for a saint is called home.
My deepest condolences to your immediate family, Ononeyi Emeka Chime, Chief/Sir Chika Ozo Chime, Mr. Forster Chime and Mrs. Nkiru Nwankwo, your siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, nephews, nieces, all your adopted children. May the good Lord grant us peace of mind and fortitude to bear your irreparable loss. Sleep on Ezinne C U King and continue to intercede for us all. Adieu our own nonagenerian.

Fare well my Intercessor.
Fare well big Mummy
Fare well CU King, till we meet again in paradise.

Chief Dozie Paul Eneh and Family.

				<title>TRIBUTE TO NNEOMA C. U. CHIME.
ST STEPHEN&#039;S CHURCH UDI
HOME AND ABROAD CONFERENCE.

It was a deep grief to us Home and Abroad CONFERENCE Women when we received the News of the Transition unto Glory of our great Mother, Nneoma C. U. Chime.

Nneoma C. U. Chime was a Mother of Great Faith with inspiring virtues.
A Lay Reader of Anglican Communion.
A great lover of Women&#039;s Fellowship and an Encourager.

The above mentioned qualities of hers led the Home and Abroad CONFERENCE to confer on her various Awards in the different occasions and Years.
Nneoma in the Year 2001

Faithful Mother ( Ada eje mba) in the Year 2022.

Nonagenaria Mother in the Year 2024.

A Wonderful Mother indeed.

Though she&#039;s been called home but her legacies live on. We will always remember her for her attendance in our fellowships both Enugu Branch and Home and Abroad CONFERENCE.
Even when she wouldn&#039;t come for age, she would call to encourage us and register her interest in the fellowship.
An Advocate of &quot;Ekpere na Abu &quot;. She would always encourage us to use &quot;Ekpere na Abu &quot; for our Fellowships because of its inspirations.

A calm Woman and yet firm on her convictions.

An Encourager of younger Women who are involved in the meetings.

A pretty Woman with a heart of gold.

We would equally miss her for her uncommon qualities of encouraging her Children and daughters in laws to be part of the Church.

On behalf of St Stephen&#039;s Church Udi, Home and Abroad CONFERENCE, we convey our heartfelt CONDOLENCES to her family. NDO NU.

May we all take Salace in the fact that She has gone home to her Creator at a very ripe AGE. May God give us all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Mama C. U. CHIME ga ije gi nke oma.

				<title>Tribute to our Grandma
Our grandma was a gentle light in our lives—soft-spoken, strong, and full of grace. She loved deeply and quietly, showing her care in the small things that meant the most. Her wisdom guided us, her prayers protected us, and her smile brought comfort even on the hardest days.
We will miss her dearly, but we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the legacy she leaves with us. Rest on, Grandma. Your light will never fade.

<title>A tribute to my lovely grandma

What is there to say about Ezinne C.U Chime that nobody knows, she was a woman of passion, full of life and wonders at such an old age, when she makes up her mind on something she&#039;s very stubborn to change it. Most of my early memories were her staying with us helping my parents take care of us when they weren&#039;t around either that or she&#039;ll be focused on her farm and at a tender age I wondered why she didn&#039;t want to rest but as I got older I understood that she wasn&#039;t someone that was easily tied down and didn&#039;t allow her old age to control her body.

Mama, you were a star that could not be snuffed out, always calling to check in and praying for us. Your death was a painful one but it wasn&#039;t to be mourned but to be celebrated for the 99 years you&#039;ve lived with the ever expanding family you&#039;ve made.

Your legacy lives on through the countless lives you&#039;ve touched, the values you&#039;ve instilled, and the love you&#039;ve shared.

Rest in peace, dear Grandma. May your soul continue to shine bright in the heavens above.</title>

				<title>Asa!
Ezinne!!

Mother of Faith!
Nne-Oma!!!
Matriarch of the Davidson Chime Family.
My Grandmother and my mother rolled up into one.

My loving Grandmother was called home by her Heavenly Father in October. Kai. What a life she lived.

I am herver first grandchild and how I love my incredible Grandmother&#x2764;&#xfe0f;

We begin always by praising God. Always.
It&#039;s how mamma lived, it&#039;s how we will choose to honor and remember her. Let&#039;s not our hearts be troubled or dismayed. God has shown exceedingly love to her and to us all.

Mamma lived to be 98 years old. What an Amazing Testimony. What an amazing mother. God loaned her to us and he has called her back to him. In the time we had her, she showed herself to be a daughter of His, always proclaiming His word, always diligent in prayer. I remember her and mummy. I can&#039;t think of one without thinking of the other. My grandma lost her husband early in their
marriage amd she devoted her life into the service of God and love for His people. My mum being the eldest of course grew a natural attachment to her and they remained close all through my life. My Grandmother never remarried and raised 6 children on her own. One child passed away im childhood. I can only imagine the difficulty of doing that at that time. I drew strength from the fact that if she could do it then with God, I certainly also can with God. I could not get anything for my mum, without getting a similar thing for my grandmother. During my childhood, mamma was always in our home.

She lived out of state but you would not know it. She spent hours in our home and we loved her. I did not want her to do anything anytime she was with us. I would tell her constantly, &#039;No, mamma. Let me do it&#039;. Then she would joke that I behaved like her mother and called me &#039;Nne mamma&#039;. And ask me to carry her on her back&#x1f603;. I would bend down and ask her to hop on&#x1f603;! Sje would tell me she would have yo get utali for me and cane me. And I told her I knew she would not it because she loved me too much&#x1f603;. And I call her mamma Nne in return.

Gosh, mamma oh. She would write letters to me when I was in Secondary school. My class mates in Queen&#039;s College Lagos could not believe that the exceptionally well written letters were crim my grandmother, and they came to love her too. And then she told me she knew and liked Barry White who I was listening to at that time ?!
I was like what?  I almost fell out of my chair. She dhocked me mote by telling me she had seen a concert of his, of course with my mum! Mamma is just too much&#x2764;&#xfe0f;
She and mummy had a great sense of humor. Oh. The things they shared and did together. It was not a usual mother-daughter relationship. But it&#039;s what we all wish we had. I can only imagine what a great Heavenly reunion that was.

I continue to praise God for the family and friends I have. I have lived a magical life because of the people in it. And now, I imagine God saying to her, &#039;Well done, good and Faithful daughter. Welcome home&#x1f64f;&#x1f3fe;&#039;
Happy Heavenly birthday Mamma&#x1f382;. What a present you have this year. The gift of meeting your savior face to face&#x1f64f;&#x1f3fe;.

See you later, Mamma Nne.
Please give our love to mummy and daddy&#x2764;&#xfe0f;

Till we meet again my dearest Ezinne , may you bask in the Eternal Light and Love of our Everlasting King.

With all my love, your beloved Nne-mamma&#x2764;&#xfe0f;.

<title>A tribute to my incredible grandmother.

Life has a way of revealing yourself to you as you just let it unfold. And the beautiful thing about it is, you realise you are not alone and navigating life all by yourself; you are the product of beauty and strength long ago forged in places unseen. I am blessed to be the product of Ezinne “ASA” C. U. Chime. A woman of God who set her foundation in Jesus and birthed nations, so beautiful and strong, God alone be glorified.

I thank Jesus for her faith, grandma held your hand and blessed you every time, and you knew you were blessed because she had cultivated such intimacy with the Lord that you knew God honoured her words. You felt it in her touch, oh her soft warm touch. So, when she spoke over you, you indeed were blessed.

I thank Jesus for her fashion sense, if I’m bold today about fashion, I saw my grandma carry herself in such graciousness, elegance, authority and presence, you couldn’t help but notice and appreciate.

I thank Jesus for her strength, mama did everything you thought a grandma shouldn&#039;t do at her old age, she cooked, she cleaned, she arranged and re-arranged, she almost couldn&#039;t be stopped. She did what she wanted to do; she was bold, and you knew it. I admired her very much for this. She raised exceptional men and women, mostly on her own, a reflection of her incredible strength. She lived each day with the grace and resilience that God lovingly placed within her.

She went to be with the lord in peace as she slept, the same peace that kept her all through her life and will keep us now and forever. God be praised for the life she lived and portrayed in Christ.

Rest now with the Lord my sweet grandma, till we see again on the day of our Lord, bye mama. I love you now and forever.</title>

				<title>TRIBUTE TO A GREAT MATRIARCH

I grew up in Umuchime to see mama as a peace loving and caring mother who had no boundaries in taking care of everyone around her.
Until her demise, she remained a symbol of peace and love as she had never been involved in any disputes or quarrels.
Back then in my school days in Girls&#039; High School Awkunanaw in the 70s, whenever I visited mama during our outing days or at anytime, she took very good care of me making sure that I ate well before going back to school, and this life of love and care endeared me to her. So, I made it a habit to visit her often.
She was a role model indeed, as such, her good relationship with my late mom and her other co-wives became a very good lesson for me and other younger ones as we were growing up.
Mama was one woman that believed so much in committing every challenge to God no matter how overwhelming it was.
Her kind advices were impeccable as she always stood on the path of truth.
One outstanding gift mama had, which had always been a surprise both to me, and to others was that even in her nineties, she remained mentally sound with her memories intact.
I won&#039;t forget how excited she was in 2022 the day she saw my younger brother who came back from Europe after so many years, like Simeon of the bible, she was thanking God for keeping her alive to see him come home.
Mama lived her life as a devoted child of God, and she enjoyed God&#039;s love and peace in Christ Jesus. We pray that God will grant us such longevity to live peacefully with love for one another.

Adieu õmalicha Ezinne

<title>TRIBUTE TO EZINNE C. U. CHIME (memory of crossing her path.)

Reflections on the serendipitous moments since my family crossed path with Ezinne C. U. Chime sticks a very vital attribute of hers in our memory - WOMAN OF PEACE.

One may have crossed paths with so many persons in this journey of life, but it is possible that only very few would likely leave you with profound memories. Ezinne, herself, was peace personified. When you beheld her, you would see peace radiating all over her; when she spoke, you would hear the sound of peace moving towards you. Even as you touched her, you would feel some sort of positive energy propelled by the force of peace.
As we were meditating on this tribute the words in the book of Philippians 4:6-7 came to mind - &quot;Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation with Thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. This passage gave an insight to the very outstanding virtue of Ezinne - a woman of peace and a mother who loved God and humanity. Ezinne, we know, had her biological children but she was also an adopted mother to many; some whom she may not even know their names. Anytime she comes to Abuja and worshipped in All Saints Church, wuse, after the benediction her aura of peace and positive energy would always draw a lot of the congregation to her for hugs and pleasantries - what a wonderful soul.

The news of her transition was indeed very sad. We had wished that God would have allowed her some more years. Alas, the Lord spoke and the peaceful transition came to pass.

Ezinne slept in peace - Psalm 4: 8 - &quot; In peace I will lie down and sleep for you alone Lord, makes me dwell in safety. Good night Ezinne.

				<title>Tribute to Madam C.U.

Though we gather not in sorrow alone, but in gratitude and reverence to God Almighty, I wish to remember and celebrate a life beautifully lived, a century lived, marked by faith, love, and grace, the life of an extraordinary woman, Madam C.U., our beloved Mama Emeka.
Just four days before your hundredth birthday, the news of your passing reached me. Your life was remarkable. You blessed everyone you met with your warmth, beauty, smiles, wisdom, and unshakable faith in God. You remained graceful to the end — quiet yet strong, humble yet dignified, gentle yet filled with the courage that only comes from trusting the Lord. You were kind to all around you, carrying yourself with elegance, quiet strength, and a calm confidence born of deep communion with God.
The memory of our last meeting still flashes before me: Bible in hand, spectacles resting on your face, as you looked up and greeted me; “Egooo, kedu?” Your vision never dimmed, and your spirit never wavered. I learned that you had spent joyful moments with your family earlier in the day and later retired peacefully for the night, leaving this world without pain, worry, or burden to anyone.
May your soul rest in perfect peace, and may your memory continue to inspire us to live with the same grace and faith that you so beautifully embodied.
Adieu, Mama. Fare thee well.

<title>A Tribute in Loving Memory of Ezinne Chime (Nne Ora)
Today, I celebrate the remarkable life of Ezinne, a woman whose 99 years on this earth were a shining reflection of beauty, grace, and unwavering faith.
Ezinne was beautiful—both inside and out. Her smile carried warmth, her words brought comfort, and her presence filled every room with peace. She lived a life anchored in love—love for God, love for family, and love for everyone who crossed her path. To know her was to experience the gentleness of a heart fully surrendered to God’s will.
Her strength was never her own; it flowed from her deep and abiding faith in the Lord. Through every season of joy and trial, she stood firm, drawing courage from the One who sustained her. Ezinne’s life was a living testimony of grace, strength, and virtue—a quiet but powerful witness of what it means to trust in God completely.
Her kindness touched generations, her wisdom guided many, and her legacy of faith continues to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in the knowledge that she now rests in perfect peace—in the loving care of the God she served so faithfully.
Rest well, Mama Ezinne.
Your light continues to shine in our hearts, and your memory will forever be a blessing.
Rest in God’s eternal care.

<title>TRIBUTE TO MY SISTER AND MOTHER — EZINNE C. U. CHIME (ASA)
Mama’s passing to glory leaves my heart heavy yet filled with gratitude. She was not just my sister, she was the only mother I knew. I lost my own mother at a tender age, and from that time on, Mama lovingly took me under her care. Through my school days, marriage, the raising of my children, my working years, and even into retirement, Mama stood by me as a mother in every sense of the word.

She was a woman of deep faith, devotion, and strength. Every morning she began her day with the Word of God, speaking to her Creator before speaking to anyone else. Her life reflected her strong relationship with God and her tireless service to others.

As the first child in our family, Mama carried responsibility with grace and devotion. She opened her heart and home to many, training young girls, caring for orphans, and helping anyone in need. She loved deeply and gave generously.

Her humility, beauty, and wisdom touched all who met her. It was no surprise when her hometown’s Women Association named her “ASA” nwanyi.

As I look back on a lifetime of memories with her, I thank God for the gift of such a loving mother and sister. Mama, you have run your race well. We miss you dearly, but we rejoice knowing you are at peace with the Lord you served so faithfully.

Farewell, my dear Mother, my Sister, my Friend.
Rest peacefully in the arms of your Maker.</title>

<title>TRIBUTE TO MY MOTHER OF INESTIMABLE VALUE
EZINNE (ASA) COMFORT UZOAMAKA, CHIME (NEE EZE)

“FOREVER IN MY HEART”

Death is inevitable and a necessary evil comes when it will come. The world is a stage, you came in, played your role and exited. Mama has just done that. She came in and played her role and exited gloriously. To be remembered by what she has done, Mama is being remembered, appreciated, celebrated, loved, admired and worshiped for the life she lived, touched, mentored, admonished and works she has done.

As mortals, she lived an exemplary life, worthy of emulation in secret and in open. Ezinne, exuded a good example of a True practical Christian in character and conduct. She was an embodiment of God’s enduring grace, selfless love and care. God used her to sow, and touch many lives positively. She was a lover of God and things of God. Mama was a women of contentment, selfless service and exemplary humility. She was a fulfilled woman. God almighty will be with us to emulate and follow those good and exemplary qualities God has manifested through our darling and glorious mother, Ezinne Comfort Uzoamaka Chime.

Mama, your exemplary and worthy life is an encouragement for your children, grand-children and great-grand-children. We are confident that the Lord is faithful, who will keep, protects, preserve and bless your soul and the souls at all that call, trust and lived for his Glory and purpose in Jesus name.

Ezinne, you exemplary life is an encouragement to us all. It has wiped away our tears, pains, sorrows, hearty feelings and given us the grace and comfort to sustain your kind and emulatable legacies. Though we would have loved you to live longer, to enjoy the great work you have accomplished, the seed you have sown, the fruit you planted, the lives you touched positively are evident and appreciated by all who live in your lovely image and hearty kindness you endeared for many to reap and save lives. Ezinne, you loved us all and we loved you unblemished but God loves you more and he knows the best. Asa, our eyes are filled with tears, but our comfort, consolation and solace is the Lord Jesus.

You showed practically how to peacefully effortlessly and relentlessly, absorb wickedness and give love in return, providing comfort, succor, love, and total devotion to God. Ezinne, we love so much, that I describe you as my Jewel of inestimable value, and will forever be in my heart. You will always be our image we love and live-in.

Mama, your human Christian life is unmatchable and holistic without blemish, so much, so that your prayers life and relationship with God is one of the challenging things about your life. Your capacity for prayers, praying and interceding for everybody in unequalled. Ezinne, you are not gone, but I know and convinced that you have gone to be with the Lord, and will continually live in me, my children and my grand-children. Mama, you were really a virtuous woman. This verse of the Bible captures and summarizes your life “many daughters have done virtuously but thou excelled them all” (Proverbs 31:10-31).

Ezinne, though you are gone to rest peacefully in the bosom of our Lord, we shall continually live in your image of the people you love and who loves you. You are a woman of impeccable character that remained an enigma and backbone to all of us, your children. In life you are a colossus, an iroko tree that protects, and caters for everybody irrespective of class, greed, culture or family background. Mama, you sacrificed and denied yourself of many luxuries so that you could provide for both your immediate and extended families. You never discriminated, compassionate and benevolent in nature. Mama, your passage was with grace, painless, peaceful and smooth transition.

We are thankful to God for the enabling grace to accomplish so much to leave an enviable legacy. You deserve a good and unhindered rest. Thank you so much Ezinne for your unblemished love, caring, understanding, support and protection, you will always live in me and your spirit and towering strength will be my guiding principle, until we meet to part no more

Adieu Ezinne
Adieu Mama Foster – a boy fo
Adieu my comforter and protector
Oby, Junior, Kaimama and your Nwanyi-udi - Somtochukwu, Chidera FosterChime will eternally miss your love and caring

Good Night Ezinne

May your Gentle Soul Continue to Rest in Perfect Peace, Amen.

<title>Tribute for My dear Grandmother EZINNE C.U CHIME

Today, we gather to honor and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman — my grandmother. To us, she was more than a grandmother; she was the heart of our family, the one whose love reached every generation and whose presence made every gathering feel like home.
She taught us what it means to live with grace, strength, love and kindness. She was a hardworking, beautiful and brilliant Grandma. Whether she was sharing her wisdom over a cup of tea, telling stories from her younger days, or making sure no one ever left her house hungry, she gave of herself endlessly.
Grandma’s love was quiet but powerful — found in the warmth of her hugs, the patience in her voice, and the way she always remembered the little things that mattered most to each of us. She had a gift for making everyone feel special, and her laughter could fill a room and a heart all at once. She is dedicated to the things of God.
Though we feel her absence deeply, we know that her spirit lives on in the lessons she taught us, in the traditions she created, and in the love she left behind.
Today we don’t just mourn her passing — we celebrate the incredible life she lived, the family she built, and the love that will never fade.
Rest peacefully, EZINNE . You’ve given us more than words can say, and your light will forever guide us.
ADIEU MAMA
ADIEU EZINNE
TILL WE MEET TO PART NO MORE.
Yours beloved Joy Nwakaku Nwigwe( Aku Beanyi)</title>

<title>This tribute is just a glimpse of who &#039;Mama&#039; was, Our Anchor, Our Heart and Home. The world feels dimmer without her light, but how lucky we were to be loved by her. &#039;Mama&#039; taught us the true meaning of Love.

Though we now walk without her hand in ours but we carry her lessons, humour and unwavering love in our hearts.

Sleep on &#039;Mama&#039; and you will forever be missed. Ameen.
